NAC to operate flights to Osaka only two days in a week

KATHMANDU, Sept 3: The Nepal Airlines Corporation has stated that it will operate flights to Osaka of Japan only for two days a week. The NAC began its direct flight to Osaka from August 29.

KATHMANDU, Sept 3: The Nepal Airlines Corporation has stated that it will operate flights to Osaka of Japan only for two days a week. The NAC began its direct flight to Osaka from August 29. 


The NAC reduced the number of flights to Japan, citing lack of passengers. The NAC would make flights only on Tuesday and Saturday. Only three flights were conducted since August 12.

Assistant Spokespersons at NAC, Sulekh Mishra, said that the flight schedule has been amended and only two flights would be operated in a week in coming days. He said that the number of flights to Osaka would be made four during Dashain and Tihar.


The NAC, operating flights to Osaka since 1994, had canceled the flights to Osaka in 2007, citing lack of aircraft.
