KATHMANDU, June 2: Journalist Deepak Dahal of Nagarik daily has been felicitated with ‘Rotary Journo Award-2018’.
Rotary International District 3892 (Nepal, Bhutan) awarded Dahal for his contribution in health journalism. District Governor of Rotary Sanjay Giri, General Secretary of Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ), Ramesh Bista and Chairperson of Nepal Press Institute, Tirtha Koirala jointly handed over Dahal with a cash prize of Rs 25000 and certificate amid a special program organized in the capital on Saturday.

Dahal is working as a journalist for 15 years and is engaged in health journalism for 13 years. Since establishment, Dahal is associated with Nepal Republic Media and leading the social bureau of Nagarik daily.
Makar Shrestha (Education) of Kantipur daily, Radha Chalise (Economy) of Gorkhapatra daily, Basundhara Gautam (Main Stream) of BBC media, Binu Pokharel (Women) of Chakrapath.com and program Aakhi Jhyal (Environment) of Nepal Television were also felicitated with the awards for their contribution in their respective genre.
