RANTANAGAR (Chitwan), Jan 13: The Narayangadh-Muglin road section, which has been shut for traffic from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm every day since December 22 last year, will be opened for throughout the day tomorrow.
The four-hour shutdown imposed to smoothen work on upgrading one of the busiest roads in the country will be in view of the fair organized at Devghat in Chitwan district on Maghe Shankranti festival, the first day of the Nepali month Magh.

The local authority took the decision to this effect bearing in mind the convenience of the devotees thronging the religious centre through the road, according to the Narayangadh-Muglin Road Project.
The expansion of the road, where around 7,000 vehicles pass through on a daily basis, is expected to be completed by April this year, shared Project's Engineer Shiva Khanal.
Devghat, which marks the sacred confluence of Kali Gandaki and Trishuli, attracts huge number of pilgrims and devotees to the Fair on Maghe Shankranti that starts from today evening and concludes tomorrow evening.
Meanwhile, only 100 persons are allowed to commute on the Devghat Bridge over the Trishuli River at a time. RSS
