Narayangadh-Muglin road section to remain close in noon for two weeks

BHARATPUR,Dec 11: The Narayangadh-Muglin road section would remain closed for certain hours in noon for two weeks effective from December 13 this year.


The meeting of the Security Committee of the District Administration Office (DAO), Chitwan held here today has decided to close the 36-km road section from 11 am to 3 pm as per the demand made by the Narayangadh-Muglin Road Project Office for carrying out road repair and maintenance works.

The road section is one of a major routes connecting Kathmandu with the Terai region. Urging for cooperation from one and all for this, the DAO, Chitwan has said that the passenger buses have to halt at place called Pandhra Kilo while cargo vehicles will be halted at Dasdhunga during the closure time.


Likewise, passenger buses coming to Nararangadh from Muglin would be stopped in Muglin and Benitar while cargo vehicles will be stopped at Lebatar and Aabukhaireni.


Special passes will be provided to the vehicles such as ambulances, emergency vehicles and fire trucks in coordination with the security agencies, according to the DAO, Chitwan.
