NAS bags British Medical Journal award

KATHMANDU, Dec 11: Among 1,500 nominees in different categories, Nepal Ambulance Service (NAS) bagged the award in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Team category of the year. The award was given by British Medical Journal amid a ceremony held in Chennai, India, on December 1.

KATHMANDU, Dec 11: Among 1,500 nominees in different categories, Nepal Ambulance Service (NAS) bagged the award in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Team category of the year. The award was given by British Medical Journal amid a ceremony held in Chennai, India, on December 1. Ranjit Acharya, President of NAS said: "We are very delighted and proud to win this award. The credit for this award goes to the entire team due to whom we could win this award from Nepal." For 24-hour emergency assistance, one can call on toll free number 102, which is directed to the NAS dispatch center where an agent screens the call for response details and dispatches the closest available ambulance.
