The ceremony was attended by Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, and Speaker of the House of Representatives Devraj Ghimire. Similarly, heads and representatives of constitutional bodies, leaders of various political parties and media persons also participated in the ceremony.
Vice Chairperson Aryal was elected unopposed as the vice-chairperson of the upper house of parliament only on Monday. She is scheduled to take office today.
