KATHMANDU, Feb 22: Cottage and Small Industries Development Board is organizing 28th National Industrial and Technological Exhibition in Kathmandu on February 23 to 28.
The expo will be held at Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall. According to the organizers, the expo is being organized to promote productions of cottage and small industries in domestic as well as international market.
Issuing a statement, the board said that Dhaka fabric products, leather products, handicrafts, woolen products, bamboo products, handmade paper products, among others, will be showcased in the expo.
“The expo will have 300 stalls. The best stall will be honored with cash prize of Rs 30,000,” the statement added.
The expo is expected to attract 300,000 visitors and record around Rs 50 million worth of transactions.
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is scheduled to inaugurate the event, according to the organizers.
