NC CWC meeting to review polls from tomorrow

KATHMANDU, Mar 22:  After three months of election results, Nepali Congress Central Working Committee meeting will start reviewing the poll results from tommorrow.

KATHMANDU, Mar 22:  After three months of election results, Nepali Congress Central Working Committee meeting will start reviewing the poll results from tommorrow.


The meeting will take place at 8:30 am at the Central Office in Sanepa, informed  Party’s Central Office Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel.

NC spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma said that the party has already instructed its district and grass-root committees to submit their respective reports regarding the party’s performance in the elections.


According to Sharma, the Central Office has received reports from almost all districts and electoral constituencies. After a thorough study of those reports, the party committee will present a comprehensive report at the CWC meeting on the poll debacle from Friday.   


The CWC is also expected to take action against those leaders who were involved in non-cooperation. 


 The major agendas to discuss in the CWC meeting are reviewing party’s performance in elections, taking action against those involved in intra-party betrayal, fixing the date for Mahasamiti Meeting,  devising Party’s strategy as opposition party  and managing the party structures at local level, reads the press statement issued by the Central Party Office.
