KATHMANDU, Feb 10: The Nepali Congress (NC)’s office-bearers have deliberated on the agendas to be presented in the meeting of the Central Working Execution Committee slated for Thursday.
The party’s office bearers discussed holding a convention of District Working Committee in various 16 districts during the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s Official Residence in Baluwatar on Wednesday. The meeting also discussed sister organizations whose term has expired, and the upcoming local level election among others that will be presented at the CWC meeting.
NC President Deuba calls office-bearers’ meeting at 4 PM today
According to NC spokesperson Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat, Prime Minister and NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba was also briefed about the issues discussed in the meeting held among the officials at the party's central office in Sanepa last Tuesday.
Spokesperson Mahat said that they will reach the conclusion on how to move ahead further strongly in future after discussion from the CWC’s meeting.
The ruling NC has called for a CWC meeting at 2 PM today at the party’s central office in Sanepa.
The district level conventions in 16 districts remain to be held due to COVID-19 while the government recently announced to hold the local level election on May 13 this year in a single phase.
