CHITWAN, Nov 26: Nepali Congress (NC) Chitwan district convention has been postponed. The NC has stated that the convention has been postponed due to the 10th National General Convention of UML in the same district.
NC District President Jit Narayan Shrestha said that the decision to postpone the convention was taken due to traffic congestion that the UML national general convention will create. "It has been decided to postpone the district convention for a few days as there will be problems in transportation and accommodation of the cadres," he said.

The district working committee has written a letter to the election committee to hold the district convention only after the convention of the seven provinces scheduled for December 2 and 3.
According to the leaders, it has been recommended to hold the district convention after December 4 as the delegates to the general conventions of the provinces and the center have already been elected.
