KATHMANDU, Aug 5: Nepali Congress (NC) has launched an internal special campaign with the primary aim of bolstering the organizationa-'s strength and effectiveness. This campaign, which commenced on Saturday, is scheduled to run for 10 days, as confirmed by General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma.
The decision to conduct this internal campaign was made during the Central Committee meeting held from July 18 to July 26. As part of this initiative, NC has deployed central members and former central members to participate in activities across all 77 districts of the country.

The campaign will involve extensive consultations with the party's lower committees, including the district working committees, to devise essential strategies for organizational enhancement.
General Secretary Sharma said that upon completion of the internal campaign, the "Nepali Congress Nationwide Campaign in the Community" will be launched from August 27 to September 10. This broader campaign aims to further engage citizens and mobilize their participation in the party.
As part of its long-term goals, NC has set a target of adding 500,000 to 700,000 new members to the party this year. During the 14th General Convention held in 2078 BS, the party witnessed an increase in active members, reaching a total of 846,000.
