KATHMANDU, Dec 4: The meeting of the central committee of the main opposition Nepali Congress is underway to discuss the proposed statute draft of the party.
The meeting which is underway at party central office at Sanepa, is focused on the proposed party statute for the amendment as per the federal structure. General Secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka with the capacity of coordinator of the amendment committee had filed the draft in the central committee meeting of the party on November 25.

The meeting is underway to discuss on the draft, informed party spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma to Republica online.
Along with the discussion of the draft, the central committee members have various issues of the party and have criticized the party president and accused him for weakening the party. Similarly, the speakers in the meeting have urged the party leadership to conceptualize the strong party committees of the district in the draft.
