NC needs to be made free from factionalism: Prakash Man Singh

KATHMANDU, Oct 24: Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh has accused the party’s President Sher Bahadur Deuba and his leadership of creating disorder in the party. Stating that the desire of the party President Sher Bahadur Deuba to prolong his stay at the helm of the party had put the party in a mess, Singh said that there was a need to strengthen the party and make it free from factionalism.

KATHMANDU, Oct 24: Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh has accused the party’s President Sher Bahadur Deuba and his leadership of creating disorder in the party. Stating that the desire of the party President Sher Bahadur Deuba to prolong his stay at the helm of the party had put the party in a mess, Singh said that there was a need to strengthen the party and make it free from factionalism.


Speaking with media personnel at Janakpur Airport on Sunday, Singh said that the office bearers and the president, who were elected through the party’s 13th General Convention made the party the weakest ever.

Singh also accused party President Deuba of being incapable of leading the party forward. 


Stating that the government should solve the landless issues of Madhesh, he said that the NC lost to the communists due to its weakness to solve such issues. He also said that the dates of the party’s general convention will not be postponed anymore.
