KATHMANDU, May 10: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of the party’s top leaders following the arrest of senior leader Bal Krishna Khand in connection with the fake Bhutanese refugee scam.

President Deuba has invited the party’s top leaders for a discussion at his residence in Dhumbarahi at 5pm today.
NC leader and former home minister Khand was arrested earlier in the morning today in connection with the fake Bhutanese refugee scam. It is learnt that Deuba called the top leaders of the party to discuss the same issue as more leaders of the party are likely to be arrested.
