NC sets up 'province desk' at party office

KATHMANDU, April 19: In view of the upcoming local level election, the ruling Nepali Congress (NC) has established a 'province desk' under the coordination of General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma.

KATHMANDU, April 19: In view of the upcoming local level election, the ruling Nepali Congress (NC) has established a 'province desk' under the coordination of General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma.


Party President Sher Bahadur Deuba established the province desk at the party’s central office upon the recommendation of the meeting of the local level central election mobilization committee coordinated by Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka.

Under General Secretary Sharma's coordination, the Joint General Secretaries will look after each province's matters relating to the election.


As per the decision, Joint General Secretary Jiban Pariyar is to coordinate with Province-1, Joint General Secretary Bhishma Raj Angdambe with Madhesh Province, Joint General Secretary Farmullah Mansoor with Bagmati Province, Joint General Secretary Mahalaxmi Upadhyay 'Dina' with Gandaki Province, Joint General Secretary Mahendra Yadav with Lumbini Province, Joint General Secretary Mahendra Pande with Karnali Province, and Joint General Secretary Kishor Singh Rathaur with Sudurpaschim Province.
