NC to hold mass rallies in all seven provinces

KATHMANDU, March 31: In a bid to turn the tables of the local polls in their favor, the ruling Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to hold mass rallies in each of the seven provinces. 


A meeting of the Central Election Mobilization Committee under the coordination of Ram Chandra Paudel held at the central party headquarters in Sanepa decided to hold rallies in all the seven provinces with the participation of top-notch party leaders.

The meeting has also decided to consolidate the party through the formation of organizations at all levels including the central, district, regional and ward levels.


In order to make the NC victorious across the nation, the party has deiced to mobilize local level election mobilization committee with the support of the voters. The committee has also decided to expedite election campaign and publicity of the party at the local level by mobilizing the party rank and file, reads a statement issued by party's Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel.


According to the press note, the rallies to be organized in all the provinces will include senior leaders of the party to make the polls a success. A central committee meeting of the party earlier this week had formed the election mobilization committee under the leadership of Paudel.
