SURKHET, Aug 2: The Nepali Congress (NC) has decided to participate in the government of Karnali Province after a long period of changing the political equation at the center.
Four ministers from the NC will participate in the CPN-UML-led provincial government.

According to NC chief whip in the province, Hikmat Bista, the list of ministers will be submitted to Chief Minister Yam Lal Kandel at 1 PM today. He stated, "We are submitting the list of the NC ministers to Chief Minister Kandel at 1 PM on behalf of the parliamentary party."
According to sources, the NC is joining the provincial government under the leadership of the party’s Central Member Rajeev Bikram Shah. Along with Shah, the ministers expected to be appointed are Suresh Adhikari from Salyan, Ghanshyam Bhandari from Dailekh, and Bijaya Budha from Humla.
