KATHMANDU, May 3: Central member of Nepali Congress and former deputy prime minister and home minister, Bimalendra Nidhi, has said his party will devote itself to the development and prosperity of the country.

Inaugurating the party contact office at Biratnagar-18 on Monday, Nidhi asserted that NC's victory would ensure the creation of employment and elevation of the people's living standard. Local governments are the pillars of development, he said, and urged all to vote for the alliance candidates in the local election slated for May 13.
