KATHMANDU, Nov 22: Nepali Congress(NC) youth leader Pradip Poudel has been elected as member of House of Representatives (HoR) from Kathmandu-5.
Poudel secured victory by defeating CPN-UML's Senior Vice Chairman Ishwar Pokharel with a huge margin of 5,065 votes.

A total of 45,987 votes were cast in Kathmandu-5 in the HoR election held on Sunday. While Poudel secured 15,237 votes, his nearest rival Pokhrel secured 10,172 votes.
Election Commission (EC) is yet to make official announcement of the result.
