NCDA gives medicines worth Rs 3m to flood-hit communities

KATHMANDU, August 16: Nepal Chemists and Druggists Association (NCDA) has provided health services in the flood-affected areas of Nepal. Issuing a statement on Tuesday, the association said that it had mobilized its zonal and district branches to provide health service to the flood-affected people immediately after the floods started. The association said it had mobilized medical teams including doctors in Mechi, Koshi, Sagarmatha, Janakpur, and Narayani zones.

According to the statement, the association has distributed medicines worth Rs 3 million to the affected people till date. The statement further said that the association has been monitoring the situation to ensure that the affected areas do not face shortage of medicines.
