KATHMANDU, June 28: Ncell has provided partial scholarships to 48 Secondary Education Exam (SEE) appeared students as part of its 'Pahilo SIM' campaign.
Issuing a statement, the GSM operator said that the scholarship will help the students to complete their bridge course program before they get enrolled in college for further studies.
“We have provided scholarships worth Rs 5,000 to each bridge course student of 16 different institutions. The students were selected on the merit basis of internal exams taken by the institutes. The partial scholarship provided to the students is in recognition of their hard work,” the statement reads.
The company believes that the Pahilo SIM subscribed by the SEE appeared students will ensure them a reliable way to remain connected with friends and family members.
"Pahilo SIM offer remains in place till June 30, under which SEE appeared students can avail Ncell prepaid SIM card at just Re 1," the operator said in the statement.
