NCHL receives Digital Services ICT Award 2021

KATHMANDU, Dec 21: Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL) has been awarded with the Digital Services ICT Award 2021 under the ICT Award 2021.


NCHL was honored at the awards ceremony organized by Living with ICT on December 17, according to a statement issued by the company.

The award was presented in recognition of NCHL's significant contributions to facilitating electronic transactions by establishing and operating the payment infrastructure required to play a key role in digital transformation, the statement reads.


NCHL completed 13 trillion e-transactions in the fiscal year 2020/21 and more than 65 trillion transactions by mid-December of this fiscal year, according to the statement.


NCHL has been providing digital payment services by operating national payment systems including electronic check clearing, interbank electronic payment, connect IPS e-payment, connect RTGS, national payment interface and corporate pay in the concept of partnership and cooperation by building payment infrastructure
