NCP Chairman Dahal urges Chand-led party cadres to join his party

KATHMANDU, Jan 11: Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Puspha Kamal Dahal has urged Netra Bikram Led-Praty Biplop not to delay in joining mainstream party in 'Party Entry Program' organized today at head office Dhumbhari.

KATHMANDU, Jan 11: Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has urged cadres of Netra Bikram Chand-led Nepal Communist Party to join the ruling NCP without any delay. 


Dahal made the remarks while welcoming Mohan Karki to his party. Karki, a key leader of the underground NCP had recently quit his party.

"I urge members of Chand-led party members not to delay to join our party," he said adding that the country is looking for unification among the communist parties. 


"The communist parties should join hands together to successfully achieve socialism in the country," Dahal said. 


On the occasion, new entrant Karki said that he decided to quit the party due to lack of political courage. 


The welcome program organized at Dhumbarahi was attended by leaders of the NCP including general secretary Bishnu Poudel.
