KATHMANDU, Sept 16: Nepal entered the SAFF Women’s Championship final defeating India. This is Nepal's historic win against India in the SAFF Women's Championship.
Nepal made it to the final securing 1-0 in the match held at the Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu on Friday evening.

Ashmi Ghising scored a goal at the 33th minute of the match on behalf of Nepal. There were no goals from both the teams after the first goal from Nepal.
This is the first time five-time champions lost to four-time finalist Nepal in the SAFF Women's Championship match. Nepal is now set to play final with Bangladesh.
