KATHMANDU, March 9: Nepal suffered a 73-run defeat in a friendly T20 match against Hong Kong.
Tasked with chasing Hong Kong's target of 213 runs, Nepal was dismissed for 139 runs in 16.4 overs.

Binod Bhandari was the top scorer for Nepal with 42 runs, followed by Arif Sheikh with 38 and Captain Rohit Paudel contributing 30 runs. Unfortunately, other batsmen failed to score in double digits.
Aakash Chand led Nepal's bowling attack with three wickets, while Arif Sheikh, Pratish JC, and Rashid Khan each claimed one wicket.
The match against Hong Kong was a friendly encounter for the Nepali team, which is participating in the triangular series.
As part of the series, Nepal is scheduled to play against Hong Kong again on Sunday and Papua New Guinea on Tuesday.
