Nepal jumps two positions in FIFA ranking

KATHMANDU, Sept 15: Nepal has climbed two positions up in the latest FIFA World ranking to 186 with 74 points.

KATHMANDU, Sept 15: Nepal has climbed two positions up in the latest FIFA World ranking to 186 with 74 points. 



Argentina is at the top of the new ranking while Belgium and world champion Germany are in the second and third positions respectively. 



Nepal stands in fifth position among the South Asian countries while India jumped moving four positions up to the 148th position to top the South Asian ranking. 



Similarly, Afghanistan is in 149th position moving one position up from last month while the Maldives is ranked 165th, nine positions up from previous month.



Bangladesh which has dropped down two spots is ranked at 185th. Similarly, Bhutan is ranked 189th  while Sri Lanka and Pakistan remained at 193rd and 194th positions respectively.
