The 10 ropani land of the government-owned Bansbari leather shoe factory was sold to the privately owned Champion Footwear Pvt Ltd. Currently, Champion Footwear has been closed and its assets are in the name of CG Chandbagh Residency Pvt. Arun Chaudhary, brother of Binod Chaudhary, was arrested in the same case.
