KATHMANDU, April 13: Nepal recorded 19 new cases of COVID-19 along with 49 recoveries and zero death from the virus on Wednesday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 4,715 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 15 PCR and four antigen tests turned out to be positive for the virus.

There are currently 533 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 496 are in self-isolation, 24 in institutional isolation, 12 in ICUs and one on ventilator. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,951 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded five cases of COVID-19 on the day. Of them, four cases were recorded in Kathmandu and one in Lalitpur districts.
