KATHMANDU, Feb 20: Nepal recorded 262 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, along with 1,338 recoveries and four deaths, according to the latest information provided by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 9,815 swab samples (including RDT antigen data received through SMS & Email) were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 229 PCR and 33 antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.

There are currently 12, 394 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 11,754 are in self-isolation, 490 in institutional isolation, 136 in ICUs, and 14 on ventilators. Similarly, 110 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,921 people have died of the viral infection across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley alone recorded 93 cases of the virus on Sunday. Of them, 80 were recorded in Kathmandu, one in Bhaktapur, and 12 in Lalitpur districts.
