KATHMANDU, May 22: Nepal's COVID-19 tally has crossed 500 after the confirmation of 20 new cases of the coronavirus today.
According to Bikash Devkota, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, samples of 14 individuals from Banke alone tested positive for COVID-19 today. Of them, 13 patients are from Narainapur and one patient is from Rapti Sonari. All the COVID-19 infected patients are between 18-61 years.

Likewise, samples of one person each from Dadeldhura, Baitadi and Morang and three individuals from Kailali tested positive for virus today. With this, Nepal has witnessed 507 COVID-19 cases as of today.
