KATHMANDU, July 28: Nepal national cricket team’s first ever One-Day International match against the Netherlands is set to be streamed live on the host-nation based streaming site (livebroadcast.nl). The Royal Dutch Cricket Association (Koninklijke Nederlandse Cricket Bond (KNCB)) confirmed the broadcast through its official twitter handle on Friday.
Nepal got an opportunity to feature in their first ever ODI on August 1 at Amstelveen, after finishing eighth in the ICC World Cup Qualifiers earlier this year. Meanwhile, this will be the team’s first ever ODI match in four years after regaining the status after 2014 as a winner of the ICC World Cricket League Championship prior to the qualifiers. Nepal will play their second match on August 3.

The Dutch team had announced their ODI squad earlier this week under the leadership of Pieter Seelaar (c) and returning key player Michael Rippon. The other members of the squad are: Wesley Barresi, Dan ter Braak, Ben Cooper, Scott Edwards (wk), Frederick Klaassen, Bas De Leede, Paul van Meekeren, Stephan Myburgh, Max O’Dowd, Hidde Overdijk, and Shane Snater.
The teams of Nepal and the Netherlands are in London to participate in the T20 triangular tournament on Sunday with Marylebone Cricket Club being the host team. The match between Nepal and the Netherlands will have T20I status. All three matches will be completed on same day with MCC and the Netherlands kick-starting the triangular.
