KATHMANDU, Dec 4: Nepal recorded 1,272 new cases, 1,575 recoveries and 16 deaths linked with the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the past one day.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 238,861 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Nepal as of Friday.

The country has now a total of 15,447 active cases of the coronavirus. As many as 221,847 people who earlier tested positive for the virus have been discharged from hospitals after recovery.
Altogether, 1,567 people, including 16 in the past one day, have succumbed to COVID-19 across Nepal so far, the ministry said in its daily COVID-19 updates on Friday.
