KATHMANDU, March 22: The government has announced that all types of passenger movement would be suspended through the Nepal-India and Nepal-China border points from tomorrow morning to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

KATHMANDU, March 22: The government has announced that all types of passenger movement would be suspended through the Nepal-India and Nepal-China border points from tomorrow morning to prevent the spread of coronavirus.


The decision will come into effect from 10 AM tomorrow. A meeting of the Council of Ministers took a decision to this effect today evening, government spokesperson Yuba Raj Khatiwada told a press conference after the meeting.

Khatiwada informed that the meeting decided to set up a fund of Rs 500 million to tackle the spread of the deadly virus. According to him, the cabinet ministers will contribute their one month's salaries to the fund.
