KATHMANDU, Oct 2: In the final game, U-19 Nepali team has defeated UAE by three wickets with five balls remaining. Chasing the target of 269 runs set by the UAE team; Nepal scored 275 runs losing seven wickets and secured its consoling victory in the ongoing ACC U-19 Asia Cup, Bangladesh on Tuesday.
Rohit Kumar Poudel scored highest 92 runs in 88 balls including six fours and three sixes. Sandeep Jora scored 67 runs in 74 balls with six fours and two sixes.

Similarly, Asif Sheikh (35), Rashid Khan (27-not out) and Rit Gautam (18) contributed for the victory. Arron Benjamin and Aaryan Lakra took two wickets each for UAE.
Earlier, UAE U-19 cricket team winning the toss opted to bat first against Nepal and set a target of 269 runs. Losing eight wickets, UAE U-19 managed to collect 268 runs playing 50 over.
