NEPALGUNJ, Sept 5: Nepal-India friendship bus service will be operated from Nepalgunj to Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh state of India.
Bheri Yatayat Pvt Ltd, which has got the authorization from the government, will operate the bus service September 8. Bheri Yatayat has reached an agreement with the Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation of India for this.

Chair of Bheri Yatayat Pvt Ltd, Rajendra Giri said the Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation and Bheri Yatayat would operate bus service from Nepalgunj and Lucknow.
Bheri Yatayat has got permission from the government to operate bus services to Lucknow, New Delhi and Haridwar. It has already been operating Nepalgunj-Delhi friendship bus service since January this year.
Chair Giri said the bus service is being operated for the convenience of the sick and the shoppers. People are presently traveling to Lucknow from Rupaidiha, the Indian town across the Nepal-India border near Nepalgunj by taxi and bus.
It is believed that the operation of direct bus service to Lucknow would also facilitate the Indian tourists coming to Nepal.
