KATHMANDU, Nov 1: Nepali young mountaineer Prakash Raj Pandey reached the summit of Africa's highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, on October 31 at 6:40 AM. The mountain stands tall at 5,895 meters. Upon conquering the peak, Pandey proudly hoisted the national flag of Nepal and the scout flag.
Pandey hails from Ramechhap and is the second climber from the region to successfully climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Sanobabu Sunuwar of Ramechhap Municipality had previously achieved this feat.

Pandey completed the climb from the base camp in a remarkable three days. His ambition is to ascend the highest peaks of the seven continents, completing the Seven Summits. Prior to this achievement, he conquered Mount Elbrus, the highest peak in Europe located in Russia, on June 29.
Pandey's mountaineering journey also boasts successful climbs of six mountains in Nepal, including Everest, Manaslu, and Amadablam.
