Nepali movie halls to miss ‘Dear Maya’

KATHMANDU, June 1: Bollywood movie ‘Dear Maya’ will not be released in Nepal. The movie, seen as comeback of Manisha Koirala in Bollywood, will not be featured in Nepali cinema hall from Friday due to the uncertainty among the film distributors.

KATHMANDU, June 1: Bollywood movie ‘Dear Maya’ will not be released in Nepal. The movie, seen as comeback of Manisha Koirala in Bollywood, will not be featured in Nepali cinema hall from Friday due to the uncertainty among the film distributors.


As the film distributors could not make decision whether to release the movie in Nepal or not, the QFX took initiation to release the movie from Sunday. The QFX decided to release ‘Dear Maya’ though it normally releases the Hollywood movie in Nepal.

“As the movie has to pass the censor, it will be released only from Sunday”, said Roshan Adhim of QFX.


Four movies ‘Rato Ghar’, ‘Jalo, ‘Wonder Women’ and ‘Baywatch’ are being released in Nepali cinema hall from Friday.
