As many as 10 Nepali movies are all set to be showcased at a program slated to be held in Pune, India from Friday. The program called ‘In the lap of the Himalayas: A festival of films from Nepal’ will held at the premises of National Film Archive of India in Pune’s Prabhat Road.
NEFTA film awards to be held in November
Pune International Center will organize the program in cooperation with Film Development Board, Nepal and National Film Archive of India. ‘Kalo Pothi’ by Min Bahadur Bham, ‘Mukundo’ by Tsering Rhitar Sherpa, ‘Pashupati Prasad’ by Dipendra K Khanal and ‘Dying Candle’ by Naresh Kumar KC will be showcased during the program.
Similarly, Prachanda Man Shrestha’s ‘Love Sasha’, Gopal Chandra Lamichhane’s ‘Oh My Man’, Yadav Bhattarai’s ‘Jhola’, Nir Shah’s ‘Seto Bagh’, Ram Babu’s ‘Kabaddi’, Nischal Basnet’s ‘Talakjung vs Tulke’ and Manoj Pandit’s ‘Chhaya’ will also be shown.
Nir Shah has been invited as the chief guest at the program.
