Nepali players retained in Pro-Kabaddi

KATHMANDU, April 10: Nepal’s international kabaddi players Sanjay Shrestha and Lal Mohar Yadav continued their alliance with Pro-Kabbadi for the seventh edition of the marquee event. Both the players were acquired by defending champion Bengaluru Bulls on Day 1 of the auctions.

KATHMANDU, April 10: Nepal’s international kabaddi players Sanjay Shrestha and Lal Mohar Yadav continued their alliance with Pro-Kabbadi for the seventh edition of the marquee event. Both the players were acquired by defending champion Bengaluru Bulls on Day 1 of the auctions.

Skipper of Nepal national kabaddi team, Sanjay Shreshtha, was sold for Rs 1 million. The Tribhuvan Army Club athlete returns to Bulls franchise after featuring for them in the fourth and fifth season. He played the last season for Puneri Paltan. Shrestha had played first three seasons for Jaipur Pink Panthers from 2014 to 2016.


Similarly, his team-mate Lal Mohar Yadav also secured contract worth Rs 1 million by the same franchise. Players from Iran, South Korea, Bangladesh, Nepal, Kenya, and the USA were contracted on the first day of the auctions. Mohammad Esmaeil Nabibaksh was the most expensive foreign player costing 7.7 million. The schedule for the new season has not been announced yet.
