Nepathya has been using their YouTube channel www.youtube.com/nepathyaofficial to release new singles as well as re-launching previously released songs in the form of new videos, lyric videos and live videos. In this process, Nepathya had recently re-released a song of the same album, Simanama, through a lyric video. “We now aim to re-launch songs from the previous albums in the form of videos. With YouTube, we feel we have a medium to connect directly to our audience and we will soon put up all our songs on our official YouTube channel,” said Kiran Krishna Shrestha, of Nepa-laya producers of the video and the management company of Nepathya.
Sharing about the production of the video he said, “The video for this song was filmed with beautiful scene of the sun setting as seen at the Aldinga beach of southern Australia. This was filmed while we were in Australia for a tour down under last year.” He further said, ‘We are working on more of such videos and will come up with another video to re-launch another song soon."
Talking about the choice of this song at this time, Nepathya frontman Amrit Gurung said, “This is a simple song about the uncertainty that comes after nightfall and the wish to overcome the darkness that comes with it. In these uncertain times of the lockdown, I have been thinking about this song and would like to use this to thank all those who have been a blessing to us in the past years.” He further added, “I would also like to dedicate this song to all those 21 musicians along with Danu dai (Daniel Don Karthak) the composer of this song for their contribution to Nepathya from their individual capacities.”
