KATHMANDU, Nov 11: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) increased marginally by 4.38 points last week.
The secondary market opened at 1,847.70 points on Sunday and closed at 1,852.08 points on Thursday. Out of five trading days, the market inclined on three days.

On Sunday, the market dropped 21.46 points, followed by an increase of 21.30 points on Monday. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the market increased 11.23 points and 5.17 points, respectively. On Thursday, the market shed 11.85 points.
Along with a rise in the market index, the total turnover amount also escalated to Rs 4.550 billion from Rs 3.785 billion in the previous week, a 20 percent increase. The average daily turnover amount inclined to Rs 910 million in the review compared to Rs 757.03 million a week ago.
The market capitalization also increased marginally to Rs 2.853 trillion from 2.846 trillion. It made the investors gain Rs 6 billion in their portfolio.
