KATHMANDU, Nov 29: The Nepal Stock Exchange index that continued to suffer in earlier days, witnessed a surge by 2.88 percent to 43.52 points today. The sensitive index climbed to close at 1,553 points.
The total 1 million 414 thousand 328 shares of a total of 131 companies were traded at Rs 1 billion 190 million 12 thousand 213, the Nepse said.
Nepse index surges by 28 points
Sensitive index rose by 3.02 percent while share price of banks surged by 2.94 percent.
Likewise, the hotel group witnessed a surge in its share price by 0.2 percent, development banks by 2.73 percent, hydropower by 5.51 percent, finance by 1.16 percent, insurance companies by 4.93 percent and other groups by 0.23 percent. However, share price of production companies decreased by 0.96 percent. RSS
