KATHMANDU, Sept 25: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Sunday fell 23.83 points and closed at 1,815.13 points.
The secondary market opened at 1,838.96 points and closed at 1,815.13 points. The index plunged to as low as 1,811.71 points before recovering marginally in the last minutes of the day.

The sensitive index that measures the performance of the blue chips companies also declined 3.83 points. The daily turnover stood at Rs 1.07 billion, which was more than the average daily turnover amount of Rs 841.69 million of last week.
All 13 trading groups lost in their average prices of shares, while the manufacturing and processing group lost the biggest of 84.46 points. In individual companies, Laxmi Bank Limited had the biggest transaction of its shares worth Rs 260.25 million. Terhathum Power Company was the top loser while Aviyan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha gained the highest percent in its share price.
