KATHMANDU, Feb 12: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Monday inclined 15.33 points to close at 2,101.16 points.
The market opened at 2,085.82 points and went through a series of fluctuations to reach the day’s low at 2,081.99 points within the first two hours of trading. The market then went to an upward graph to hit as high as 2,103.58 points in the last 45 minutes. The market lost around two points in the remaining trading period before it closed for the day.

The sensitive index that measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies plunged 1.24 points. The daily turnover fell to Rs 3.58 billion from Rs 4.08 billion on Sunday.
Only ‘others’ had its index declined by 0.93 points. Out of the 12 gainers, non-life insurance, and manufacturing and processing escalated with 183.66 points and 125.93 points, respectively.
Among individual companies, 199 were recorded as gainers whereas 45 were the losers.
Himalayan Reinsurance Limited with transactions of its shares worth Rs 230.23 million continued to lead the segment. Bottlers Nepal (Balaju) Limited gained the highest of 10 percent, while the market value of NIC Asia Growth Fund-2 declined the highest of 8.89 percent.
