KATHMANDU, Oct 11: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has sought clarifications from three stockbrokers for submitting the fake details of their clients.

Issuing a public notice on Sunday, the front line regulator of the stocks trading market asked Sumeru Securities, Trishakti Securities and Naasa Securities to send clarifications giving a deadline of seven days. These brokerage companies have been accused of submitting false details of their clients on the pretext of human errors.
Nepse has made the brokerage companies liable to verify the details of the investors. The stockbroking firms will face the actions if the clarifications they provide are not satisfactory, reads the Nepse notice.
