"The code of conduct of 2003 (2060 BS) seems to have been centered on print media, so we are preparing to bring such code of conduct as to encompass radio stations, television network and online news portals that have emerged as the new media outlets," Council Chairman Borna Bahadur Karki said.
As compared to the less number of journalists and media houses, the number of media outlets has increased now which is also stoking an increment in the incidents of violation of the code of conduct, added Karki.
He further said that the new code of conduct will be implemented in the beginning of the first week of August. RSS
