NIC Asia honors nat’l women's football team

KATHMANDU, May 7: NIC Asia Bank, emphasizing its slogan 'Bank pani saathi pani, ramro pani hamro pani’, organized a felicitation program to honor the national women’s football team of Nepal which participated in the 73rd edition of WAFF Women’s Championship held in Saudi Arabia, and emerged as the runner-up.

KATHMANDU, May 7: NIC Asia Bank, emphasizing its slogan 'Bank pani saathi pani, ramro pani hamro pani’, organized a felicitation program to honor the national women’s football team of Nepal which participated in the 73rd edition of WAFF Women’s Championship held in Saudi Arabia, and emerged as the runner-up.


The bank, in collaboration with the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), felicitated the 31 members of the national women's football team, awarding them a cash prize of Rs 25,000 each and presenting them with certificates of recognition. Moreover, the bank announced goalkeeper Anjana Rana Magar as its brand promoter, acknowledging her exceptional performance.

During the program, the bank extended best wishes to the Nepali national women's football team saying that they had displayed outstanding teamwork, sportsmanship, patience, and determination throughout the tournament, leading them to the finals and securing the runner-up position despite being newcomers.
