NIOHS launches online training on sexual and reproductive health

KATHMANDU, April 8: Nepal Institute of Human Sexuality (NIOHS) has started online classes targeting capacity building of individuals related to the sector.

KATHMANDU, April 8: Nepal Institute of Human Sexuality (NIOHS) has started online classes targeting capacity building of individuals related to the sector.


Established in 2013, the NIOHS has been working to empower health workers in sexual and reproductive health. It has been providing training to paramedics and medical doctors in their capacity building.

In lack of adequate information on sexuality-related issues, a large number of people are suffering from physical and mental disorders. This has led to the deprivation of the majority of people from their right to personal health.   


The NIOHS in this regard launched seven-day training on Monday. Through the program, the institute will be providing experts’ advice and materials induction course free of costs, reads a press release issued by the NIOHS
