NMB Bank receives IFC award

KATHMANDU, May 31: NMB Bank has received 'Best Issuing Bank Partner in Fragile Countries – 2017 - South Asia' award from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) during 8th IFC Trade Awards. According to a statement issued by the bank, Vittorio Di Bello, regional head - Asia & Pacific, Financial Institutions Group, IFC, handed over the award to Sunil KC, CEO of NMB Bank.

According to a statement issued by the bank, Vittorio Di Bello, regional head - Asia & Pacific, Financial Institutions Group, IFC, handed over the award to Sunil KC, CEO of NMB Bank. “The award has been given in recognition of the bank's partnership in the Global Trade Finance Program for the year 2017. “Along with the award from IFC, NMB Bank has received three different coveted international awards in 2017, including The Bank of the Year 2017, The Financial Times, London and Certificate of Merit – Frost and Sullivan,” the bank added in the statement.
