Press Coordinator Sapkota, however, mentioned that the security personnel arrested a drunkard for his misconduct in front of the event venue where CPN was organizing welcome programme to the new entrants at Bharatpur Metropolitan City-23 on Thursday morning.

The man was creating hullabaloo. Police nabbed him and freed him after reprimanding.

Stating that the Secretariat's attention was drawn towards rumours in this connection, Sapkota urged one and all not to go by the baseless publicity.

"The news are aimed at defaming the people's war and those who fought for liberation. We urged all not to go by the exaggerated news," he said.
